Gill McCulloch is the Director and Owner of Safe & Sound First Aid Training Ltd. She is a fully certified Red Cross instructor and Authorized Provider of the Canadian Red Cross First Aid Training Program. She has been teaching first aid since 1999 and is the mother of two young children.
Gill has a Bachelor of Science honors Degree in Human Biological Sciences from the University of Loughborough, England. Before starting her career in first aid, Gill worked for eight years in health and fitness clubs as a Manager, Fitness Director and Personal Trainer. She was also a BCRPA Supervisor and Examiner of Fitness Leaders.
Gill emigrated to Canada with her husband in 1996 and worked for Fitness World for two years before deciding to start her own business. While on maternity leave she completed the Douglas College Self Employment program and qualified as a Canadian Red Cross first aid instructor. She then set up her first aid training Company and began teaching first aid courses in the community. In October 2000 Gill received the Entrepreneur of the Year, Home Based Business Award from the Self Employment Program.
