Workplace Emergency First Aid
(OFA Level 1)

Teaches adults in the workplace how to give first aid to their co-workers. Accepted by WorkSafe BC as equivalent to OFA level 1.

A comprehensive program covering skills necessary to help people of all ages. Covers entire content of Emergency First Aid course plus additional topics. Includes your choice of CPR level C or CPR level HCP.

Emergency Child Care First Aid & CPR

ABOUT OUR COURSES:
Our courses are taught by certified Red Cross First Aid Instructors who can tailor the course based on class composition and provide guidance during the course to help increase participant’s skill retention. Courses are based on a combination of teaching techniques that include:
- DVD support (video footage)
- PowerPoint presentation
- Instructional Posters
- Skills demonstration and practice
- Scenarios
- Exercises
- Class discussions and Q&A
Practical hands-on components are supported by a variety of training materials, based on course requirements, such as mannequins for CPR, AED (Automated External Defibrillator) trainers, bandages, splinting materials, barrier devices, first aid kits, auto-injector trainers and inhalers.
