Hosting a Course

Why host a course? Because it will save you time and money!   If you have a room and a group of people that need to take a first aid course, we can come and teach the course in your own venue. If you don't have a suitable room you can use our classroom. There are several advantages to hosting a first aid course:   You choose the course venue. Courses can be held in workplaces, private homes, churches, function rooms and clubhouses etc. All you need is a room with  seating for each participant and washrooms nearby. We will take care of everything else.   You choose the course date and time. We will come and teach the course for you on a date and at a time that is convenient for you and your group. Courses can be held on any day of the week and times are flexible.   Less travel time. The course is held in a venue that is convenient for you and your group.   Courses hosts receive a special gift and may even be eligible for a complimentary place on the course!  If you host your courses in the future, you may never have to pay for your first aid training again!   You take the course with people you know. Most people prefer to take courses with people they know. If you are shy about walking into a room full of strangers, then hosting a course is the way to go. You will spend a fun and interesting day with some of your favorite people!   You can have your baby with you (this may not apply to courses hosted in the workplace). This means that you don’t have to pay a babysitter or spend hours away from your child, which is especially important for nursing moms.   The people who attend your course will thank you for getting them to do something that may have been on their ‘To do’ list for years! Most people know that it would be a good idea to take a first aid course, but sometimes life gets in the way and it is hard to find the time.  However, people usually feel happy and relieved once they have learned some lifesaving skills and it improves their confidence and self esteem.
